Experimetria offers a wide variety of research transducers for blood pressure and force/displacement as well as research sensors for temperature and respiration.

exp-bpr.jpg (5470 bytes) BPR-01 and BPR-02 are a reusable blood pressure transducers. Durable and highly accurate, utilizing four semiconductor strain gauges bonded directly to the sensing diaphragm, the innovative design results in low volume displacement, virtually eliminating overshoot, and high stability with extraordinarily low drift. BPR-01 is dome-type. BPR-02 is open at both ends. Designed for use with the HG blood pressure gauge universal DC bridge amplifier.

FSG-01 force/displacement transducer is available in horizontal or vertical configuration. Designed for use with the SG strain gauge universal DC bridge amplifier. FSG-01/50 is compatible with MYO-01 small vessel (200 µm) myograph bath system.

Note that these are isotonic transducers, which move (as opposed to isometric transducers, which do not move). In the event of concerns about motion artifacts for applications such as optical sampling, consider the force and displacement range of your experiment when selecting the appropriate transducer for minimum motion effects.
FSG-02 implantable force/displacement transducers are designed for use in-vivo. They directly measure contractions and can be chronically implanted. Available in three different sizes for use in various animal species, they have an arch shape and each of the four corners has a hole for suturing the gauge to the organ wall. Recommended applications: heart, trachea, intestines, esophagus, stomach, uterus and bladder. Designed for use with the SG strain gauge universal DC bridge amplifier.

RPH-01 drop-type temperature probe is designed for use on skin or any flat surface. Silicon transducer measures temperature changes up to 120° C. Upper side is coated with epoxy resin; underside is stainless steel. Factory-set to measure temperatures in the biological range (20-40° C); can be special-ordered to measure -20 to +120° C. Designed for use with the TH temperature meter.

RTH-01 stick-type temperature probe measures temperatures in animals (rectal or oral) using a silicon transducer. Stainless steel probe is available in two sizes. Factory-set to measure temperatures in the biological range (20-40° C); can be special-ordered to measure -20 to +120° C. Designed for use with the TH temperature meter.

FLH-01 respiration sensors determine respiratory rate by means of temperature shift. Available in several sizes for use in various animals from rats to horses, the sensors are simply placed in the trachea. Designed for use with the LH respiratory monitor.
