Working Heart/Langendorff Perfusion Apparatus according to
Neely design. Includes one buffer column for perfusion according to Langendorff retrograde
perfusion (for initial heart preparation), one buffer column for perfusion according to
Neely (working-heart), elastic chamber (adjustable for control of cardiac output), atrial
reservoir (adjustable for control of left atrial filling), three Teflon taps (to adjust
buffer flow and direction), mechanical liquid-flowmeter (for measurement of aortic flow in
working heart mode), spindle syringe with catheter, metallic tube and latex baloons (for
measurement of LVP in Langendorff mode), heart suspending unit (special design for both
Langendorff and working heart option), thre sizes of canula for suspension of heart (mice,
rat, rabbit), thermosensor and thermometer to measure buffer temperature in the heart
suspending unit, Unipolar electrode on an AM-01 type manipulator (for measurement of the
surface potential), mechanical stand, clamps, holders and fittings for complete apparatus.
