Systems for the measurement of fluorescence and phosphorescence lifetimes

PTI offers three different systems for measuring time resolved fluorescence, ensuring that you can pick the system that is best for you. All three systems are time-domain systems acquiring the real decay curve and providing comprehensive decay analysis tools including distribution analysis using either MEM or ESM, and FRET calculators.

PTI LaserStrobe: PTI's LaserStrobe fluorescence lifetime system is the system of choice for the research lab that is working with low concentrations or weak emitters. With high peak power, tunable 1 nanosecond laser pulses for excitation anywhere from 235nm to 990nm, and PTI's patented time-domain stroboscopic detection technology this system is able to handle even the most demanding fluorescence lifetime measurements. The LaserStrobe has excellent sensitivity down to 7pM fluorescein or better and can deconvolute fluorescence lifetimes as short as 100 picoseconds. Taking advantage of PTI's patented stroboscopic detection, this system can collect data in a logarithmic time scale and it can acquire time resolved emission spectra (TRES) directly. PTI PicoMaster: Did you know that the Founders of PTI also developed and introduced the world's first commercial Time-Correlated Single-Photon-Counting (TCSPC) system in the early 1970's? This year PTI has brought back TCSPC in a big way with the introduction of the PicoMaster series.
